Regional Sales Director

ROLE DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

We have a great opportunity for a standout sales talent to cross sell Software Defined Perimeter solutions into our large enterprise and mid-market account base, as well as bring net new customers into the Cyxtera family.  This field based role will focus on a set of named accounts in the technology, software and as a service verticals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed set monthly, quarterly and annual new business quota.
  • Understand how Cyxtera Software Defined Perimeter solutions deliver unique value over traditional network security solutions and help customers determine the best way to start their journey to a more secure and scalable security model.
  • Generate new, qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting and social selling in order to maintain appropriate pipeline needed to meet quota goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Reps, Channel Sales, Sales Engineers and other Cyxtera product sales specialists to further identify and qualify new opportunities.
  • Position Cyxtera Software Defined Perimeter solutions with CIO/CISO, departmental decision makers and technical influencers.
  • Cross sell / Up sell within defined customer base to drive additional sales.
  • Engage in industry groups and events within geographic territory to promote Cryptzone brand and identify new opportunities.
  • Stay current on competition and industry trends in order to act as a valued resource to prospects and customers.
  • Share, learn, collaborate with team members, management and marketing to develop strategies, improve execution, and ideas that drive great team results and success.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Cryptzone Regional Sales Director should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years related sales experience with a record of exceeding sales goals and quotas.  Demonstrated examples of building relationships within the technology, software and as a service verticals.
  • Experience selling network security solutions such as firewalls/next generation firewalls, network access control, VPNs, etc.
  • Confidence and credibility to build relationships with C-Level contacts including CIO, CISO, and other key executives in the IT, network and cloud teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through email, via telephone and in person in order to build rapport and trust with technical users and decision makers.
  • Ability to manage complex, transformational sales that involve committee based decisions.
  • Ability to really uncover customer problems and quantify the impact in order gain senior level sponsorship within prospect.
  • Strong sales process to quickly identify decision making process and move sale through steps closure.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to construct enterprise license agreements.
  • Understanding of technical concepts around security and compliance, along with willingness and drive to continue to learn
  • Professionally persistent and good with follow through.
  • Hunter mentality that truly enjoys the thrill of the chase.
  • Goal oriented, fearless and hates to lose.
  • Team player that is passionate about helping team succeed.  Able to work collaboratively with other members of the sales team to achieve the best results for team and Cryptzone as a whole.
