Access email, intranet and other apps from your iPad
The AppGate Security Server can support any application over standard bandwidth connections making it possible to enable feature-rich applications on mobile devices, unlike "push technologies" that offer only email-centric functionality.
Secure communications
The AppGate Security Server delivers a very high level of security. All traffic is encrypted end-to-end between the AppGate Security Server and the iPad. The information never passes through a third party unlike many of the common "push" solutions.
Prevent information leaks
When the device is connected to the AppGate Security Server, all traffic will flow through the secure VPN connection, avoiding split tunneling and reducing the risk of a data leak.
Strong authentication
AppGate Security Server supports a range of authentication methods including password, Radius and SecurID. Two factor authentication capability is built-in as standard and chained authentication can be used to streamline the login process for users.
Granular control of user access
Powerful rules and rights management tools give administrators complete control over which network resources each user can access.
Reduces digital footprint
When connected to the AppGate Security Server, any service that sees the device, for example when surfing the web, reading email etc, will only see the company IP address, not the actual iPad. In turn, this means a lower digital footprint than otherwise as it hides the physical location of the iPad.
