Installation Instructions for
Secured eMail Reader:
1) Download the Reader
The Reader is completely free of charge, and it is used to open secured emails. If you are using a fully supported email client
however, it can also be used to reply secured for free, as many times as you wish. You also have the possibility to send 10 new encrypted emails, for free.
2) Install the Reader
When you have downloaded the Secured eMail Reader, simply double click the installation file in order to
install it.
Make sure that your email client is NOT running when installing the Secured eMail Reader!
Secured eMail will integrate itself into your Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes (v6/v7). You will then be able to both read and send secured emails. If you are not using a
fully supported email client, you will be able to read secured emails in the stand-alone reader. Read below to learn how.
3) Read the email
In an email client:
As explained previously, if you are using a fully supported email client, you can read secured emails in the email
client. You simply double click the email, enter the shared secret (password) that you received from the
recipient. After entering the shared secret, the email will decrypt and open in
a new window.

In the stand-alone Reader:
If you are not using a supported email client, you can read the email just as easily in the stand-alone Reader software
that you just downloaded and installed. Simply save the attached .sema file that came with the secured email to
your desktop, double click it, enter the shared secret that you received from the sender and the email will open.
