The AppGate Security Server is also available as a virtualized appliance and it is functionally identical. This free to download software is easy to install on a VMware or VirtualBox server. Because virtualized appliances are functionally identical it is possible to switch easily between an AppGate Security Server and a virtualized appliance making the virtualized appliance a great way of maintaining a back up system at almost no cost.
