Gothenburg, September 24, 2009 – Cryptzone today announces that it will launch its’ highly praised SEP server for Cloud Computing.
Cryptzone has engineered its Simple Encryption Platform (SEP) 4.3 to utilize and be compatible with all the benefits of Cloud Computing technologies. All the functions offered by Cryptzone’s SEP Server and management tools will be available from the cloud. Customers will be able to connect the SEP Client from any computer without connection to the company’s infrastructure, resulting in no need for VPN connectivity. The Cryptzone Secured eUSB with its’ breakthrough Data Content Reporting (DCR) functionality will transparently send data content activity from the actual encrypted USB flash drive and automatically synchronize all events with the SEP server in real time, from any computer in the world that it’s attached to. Planned date of introduction is in November of 2009. "Over the years our customers’ need for a more open security platform has increased. Today in a global mobile world, the demand for availability of information is growing and in the same time the need to secure sensitive information is more vital than ever before. With the introduction of SEP Cloud, the access to secured information has never been easier", says Peter Davin, CEO Cryptzone. "This best of breed technology opens up many new markets for Cryptzone and its’ worldwide distribution partners.” "Offering SEP Cloud to our customers and partners is a very strong addition to our already vast product platform and enables our customers and channel partners to fulfill the growing need for availability of information but at the same time ensure high information security. Our engineering expertise lends itself to developing a strong security platform, with the ease of use-demands of most information workers and the SEP Cloud is another perfect example of these strengths”, says Anders Hansson, CTO Cryptzone.
