Secured eMail extending its centrally managed Simple Encryption Platform suite with full hard disk encryption

San Francisco– February 6th, 2007 – Secured eMail, a leading provider of secure content solutions, today announces a technology partnership with SafeNet, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFNT), a global leader in information security. Through this partnership, Secured eMail launches Secured® eDisk- a full hard disk and drive encryption solution, to its series of encryption applications, integrating with the Simple Encryption Platform (SEP) architecture.

The SEP platform allows enterprises to integrate new encryption applications quickly and easily, profiting from the benefits of a unified management console and resulting in high Return of Investment (ROI) over time. This common encryption platform strategy allows additional Secured eMail products to leverage SEP, allowing deployment to be more cost-effective, thereby reducing operational costs and freeing up IT resources.

An organization's encryption requirements will typically develop in a phased approach, adding new encryption applications such as email, file, folder, mobile USB devices and complete disk drives. The SEP platform allows the organization to add new encryption applications without requiring the installation of a new management console. The business continues to develop its return of investment from the existing infrastructure.

Secured® eDisk encrypts the entire hard drive of a laptop, workstation, or server, to protect against disclosure of information in case of theft or accidental loss of the hardware device. Pre-boot authentication prevents unauthorized users from circumventing the operating system to access sensitive information. The underlying SafeNet ProtectDrive software technology recently received a four star rating from SC Magazine and has been deployed in enterprises and governments worldwide.

"We are delighted to partner with SafeNet to further extend our SEP suit of content security solutions,” says Peter Davin, CEO Secured eMail AB. “Our customers are looking for strong encryption solutions both for granular information content, as well as for complete drives and hardware devices. We are pleased to now be able to offer full disk encryption, a requirement that we can meet together with SafeNet’s award-winning ProtectDrive."

"Secured eMail has a good vision for how to deliver security in one of the most important areas of day-to-day business life and we are pleased to be partnering with them” said Bill Anderson, Vice President, Encryption Products, SafeNet, “The combination of Secured eMail’s platform and SafeNet’s ProtectDrive encryption capabilities deliver easy-to-use features with rock-solid security for a broad range of users"
